Many of us hire a limousine for a special occasion, simply to see what a Rolls-Royce or Bentley limousine looks like up close and get the real feeling of riding in a top of the range luxury car.

However, there are limo hire companies out there who actually use replica limousines to hire out to their customers instead of the real thing. For example, replicas are made of Rolls-Royce limousines and they cost around a quarter of the price of the real thing. The replica limousines also look so close to the real thing, limo hire companies are stocking up on fake Rolls’ as they catch just as much attention as the new SUV super stretch limousines.

Classic limousines such as the Rolls-Royces are quite rare among limo hire companies because the real ones are very expensive. However, a replica Rolls which looks exactly like the real thing will catch more attention than just another SUV limousine as every limo hire company has an SUV limo and the classics are sometimes just as popular.

However, if a limo hire company is hiring out a replica limousine, charging people full price they need to make sure the passengers know it is not a real Rolls-Royce they are riding in. The limo hire companies however know that the majority of people who hire limos have never even seen one up close before (that is why they are hiring one now) and so the limo hire companies are banking on the fact that no one will know their cheap rolls-Royce is a fake.

While hiring the replica limousine to prom kids who don’t know the difference might start out as a good idea, there is a bigger market of clients out there than just prom goers and it is possible to find a slightly older (real) limousine for the same price as the replicas and it is likely to be more reliable and more stable than a fake cheapy.

Having said that, this doesn’t mean that there won’t be limo hire companies who try to hire out a replica Rolls as a real one, so make sure you check closely and if you’re still not sure, ask someone in the know before you book.
